Hostess is a leading sweet snacks company that produces, markets and distributes fan favorites like Twinkies, Donettes and Ding Dongs. In 2019, it also acquired Voortman brands, a wafer cookie line of products.

THE PROBLEM

Hostess needed a cohesive collection of their top-selling products, as well as a catalog for Voortman, photographed in record time and all shot and approved remotely.

Adding to the complexity, none of the brand team members had ever done a photoshoot before, especially not REMOTELY.

THE SOLUTION

Provide a detailed version of each shootbook to get approval of props, setting and colors in advance of the shoot.

Enable all seven brand managers real-time access to each of the three sets so that they could jump from one to the other and provide instantaneous feedback.

THE RESULTS

After a brief learning curve, a pace was established that
ensured that everything was delivered and approved on time as promised.
