Anheuser-Busch InBev Family Talk About Drinking is a resource that helps coach parents on how to have age-appropriate talks with their kids about not drinking underage.

THE PROBLEM

Parents want help preventing underage drinking.

But most PSAs come across as overly preachy, too serious or, worst of all, impractical.

THE REALITY

Research shows that parents are the No. 1 influence when it comes to whether or not teens will drink underage.

THE SOLUTIONS

FIRST YEAR

In year one, a series of videos from Chicago’s Second City reminded parents that they were once young and foolish.

SECOND YEAR

In year two, we helped “Helicopter Parents” realize that they didn’t need spy gadgets; they just needed a conversation to keep their kids safe.

THIRD YEAR

In year three, we used a more “light hearted” approach to show that conversations could happen anywhere, even during a car ride.

The multi-year campaign focused on four occasions with greater peer pressure to drink underage – prom, graduation, back-to-school and the holidays.
